How do I make UGC ads?
Pick one product and one problem it solves, write a 15 to 30 second script with a hook, problem, product, proof and call to action, and get it filmed by a creator or produced with an AI presenter. Add captions and an end card, export 9:16, and launch three or more hook variations.
Step by step
- Choose one product and one problem. Read reviews to find the words customers use.
- Write the script: hook, problem, product, proof, call to action, 15 to 30 seconds.
- Decide who makes it: you, a customer, a paid creator or an AI presenter.
- Film or produce vertically, in a real setting, with the product in hand.
- Edit: burned-in captions, cut every pause, add an end card.
- Export 9:16, plus 4:5 for Meta feeds.
- Make hook variations: two to four alternative openings.
- Launch them together and compare results.
Equipment, if you film yourself
- A recent smartphone, front or back camera.
- Window light or a cheap ring light.
- A clip-on mic for clear audio.
- A free editing app with auto-captions.
Before you launch
- Every claim matches the label or product page.
- Written permission from anyone on camera.
- Text and faces inside the safe zone.
- The first frame isn't a logo.
